Setting up Outlook Exress 5 to Sort Email

Step 2 of 9

After pressing CTRL-SHIFT-E (or going through the menu), this little window will pop up. It give you a tree-style view of what's in your Outlook Express. Notice how in this example, the "Inbox" is highlighted, or selected? Well, that's your way of telling Outloook, "Hey, I want to create a new folder and the item I've selected is where you're going to place it!".

In the blank under "Folder name:", you're going to tell Outlook what you want to call your new folder. This can be practically anything, but name the new folder something that at least YOU will understand.
Do yourself a favor and don't name it something like X837UJ38881. After you've typed in the new folder's name, click the "OK" button to create the folder.
