 We charge by the hour labor only. Some development companies will charge a set fee, but this can be unfair to you as the project may only take a small amount of actual labor to complete. With WebDesigns by Ancient Tiger, you only pay for what it takes to get the job done, and nothing more. You also pay a fraction of what most other companies will charge you on an hourly basis. Our labor costs are broken into two categories:
Simple web page construction and custom graphics work isn't as complex as advanced programming, so we only charge $20/hr for these services. If you want more advanced features such as web form validation (JavaScript programming), or web based scripting that allows such features as message boards, inventory management, online purchasing, etc, then that's going to cost $45/hr. We would suggest that you get an overall idea of all that you want in either your software, or your website (or both) and shop around. See what the current market charges per hour labor for software or website development. If you find someone out there that charges less than we do, and maintains the quality that we offer then go with them by all means. But we're betting that you're not going to find anyone that charges less than we do, and offers the quality we offer. |
